One of my all-time favorite things to capture would definitely have to be proposals. I love seeing the planning and effort that goes into one of the biggest moments of a person’s life, and it’s even more special when it’s one of my friends.
When Anthony reached out to me a couple of weeks ago, he started the conversation with, “I need your photography expertise...” and I instantly knew what he was about to say (I might have actually squealed out loud when I read his text). I remember when he first started dating Abby...They had been friends for years beforehand, and he quickly realized that he had found everything he had ever wanted in someone who had been right in front of him all along.
Anthony planned a brunch at Montaluce Winery for Abby’s birthday with her best friends. His family and Abby’s family came as well and hid out with me in the vineyard to surprise her after the proposal. Other than thinking our cover had been blown when it was actually another couple (LOL), everything went off without a hitch! Abby’s reaction was priceless, and the moments that followed were just so sweet. The pure joy and love was just radiating off of everyone there. It couldn’t have been more perfect.
